Tomato Technologies for Tomorrow

Come join us for an informative field night focused on the technologies of tomorrow for your home or commercial tomato plantings, organized by the OSU South Centers Soil, Water, and Bioenergy Resources program. Featured speakers will include Brad Bergefurd of Brandt Agriculture, and Ohio State University researchers Drs. Rafiq Islam and Arif Rahman and Thom Harker.

Highlights/focus areas of this event will include:

  • Nano fertilization and drip irrigation
  • Salicylic (aspirin) acid and hydrogen peroxide as chemical inducers
  • Public health benefits of tomatoes
  • Tour of the South Centers tomato and other field trials

This event will be held in person at The Ohio State University South Centers in Piketon, Ohio. Thanks to the generous support of our partners, this event will now be offered FREE OF CHARGE and will still include a meal.
