Management Leadership Series

Nov 13, 2013, 8:00am - 11:00am

The next installment of the Management Leadership Series will be held on Wednesday, November 13 at the Ohio University-Chillicothe Technology and Business Development Center.  The featured speaker is Greg Morris.  Mr. Morris was one of the leading Principals and CEO for Morris Technologies, Inc. and Principal of Rapid Quality Manufacturing, which both companies became fast adapters and leaders in additive manufacturing production—until both were acquired by General Electric in 2012.

Mr. Morris will take you on his journey from starting his company, to transforming an existing opportunity into a unique strength, and finally becoming acquired by Ohio’s largest OEM.  As he will attest, there is no “magic recipe” or “secret formula” to being an innovative leader who produces the best possible results, but rather quality leadership.  Success is determined by a leader’s approach, which is comprised of: established standards, self-assessment, fast adapting, empowered leadership, and motivated teams.

Registration and breakfast will begin at 8:00 am on November 13 and then training will run from 8:30 am until 11:00 am.  This event will be held as a webcast with the speaker presenting in Cincinnati.

This workshop is being presented by District 7's Manufacturing and Technology Small Business Development Center, Ohio University-Chillicothe, and the Chillicothe and Ross County Chamber of Commerce.
