This FREE, online-only event will feature several video presentations recorded from the OSU South Centers research fields, as well as live question and answer segments. When registering, you can submit your questions you would like answered during the event.

    The Mid America Cooperative Council and Center for Cooperatives are teaming up to offer training for new co-op directors and directors who want to improve their leadership skills!  This training includes two online sessions on Tuesday, August 4th and Wednesday, August 5th. Registration is for both sessions.

    This educational aquaponics workshop will discuss the benefits and sustainability of an aquaponics system while conserving resources. Featured speakers are Charlie Shultz, Lead Faculty in the Controlled Environment Agriculture Program at Santa Fe Community College and Jeni Blackburn, co-owner of the family-owned Fresh Harvest Farm in Richwood, Ohio, where they utilize Yellow Perch to grow produce through aquaponics. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour the Ohio State University South Centers aquaponics research system.

    Learn proven pruning techniques to help maximize production and quality in your fruit plantings and vineyards as part of a special workshop coming to The Ohio State University South Centers in March. The Fruit Pruning School workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 12. This daytime educational opportunity will feature Dr. Gary Gao, Professor and Extension Specialist at OSU South Centers, and Research Assistant Ryan Slaughter.
