    The Ohio State University South Centers in Piketon will be celebrating the 30th anniversary of its opening on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 beginning at 9:30 a.m. South Centers will use this occasion to market its four main program areas (aquaculture; business development; soil, water, and bioenergy resources; specialty crops) to community stakeholders, other educational institutions, legislative officials, and internally within the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES) and to OSU administration.

    Come join us for timely fruit research updates for your farm and garden, and to get your questions answered by experts from The Ohio State University. This FREE, online-only event will feature several video presentations recorded from the OSU South Centers research fields, as well as live question and answer segments. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit their questions throughout the event, to be answered either live by our presenters or in the chat box.

    Join us on August 17th at OSU South Centers in Piketon to learn more about hops production in Southern Ohio. Brad Bergefurd and the OSU South Centers Research Team will also be presenting. Brad Bergefurd and the Research Team will be presenting about hop production and integrated pest management in Southern Ohio. This session is free and there is no registration required. Food and drink will not be provided so please plan accordingly. OSU requires that masks be worn indoors; masks will be provided for those who do not have one.

Join the OSU South Centers and the OSU Department of Horticulture for an in-person high tunnel strawberry tour! This program will provide you with a chance to see first hand the latest strawberry growing technology utilizing a soilless method in a high tunnel environment.

    Welcome to the Board  • Two-hour interactive online training This interactive, online training will introduce participants to the co-op board's role, legal responsibilities of directors, and the crucial skills that directors use as they lead their co-op. Along with industry professionals, the MACC team will prepare participants for an active role on the board. The training is designed for newly elected directors or co-op members interested in joining the board in the future.
