Program Mission:
To develop and promote research, Extension and educational programs for agricultural management practices that sustain soil & water resources and are economical for producers and growers.
Vision Statement:
To have the Soil, Water & Bioenergy Resources Program at the OSU South Centers recognized as an outstanding research, Extension and educational program throughout the state of Ohio and nationwide:
- Develop and support innovative and applied programs through continual interaction with rural and urban stakeholders that sustain our agricultural systems for future generations in southern Ohio.
- Provide regional and statewide leadership for sustainable management of soil and water resources to maximize agricultural production while minimizing adverse environmental impacts.
