The Ohio Cooperative Development Center (OCDC) provided grant
funding and technical services to 11 emerging cooperatives as well as
technical and support services to help strengthen 24 existing
cooperatives. OCDC provided two major workshops for the Ohio community
in the areas of renewable energy and globalization outlook and
development. The center also facilitated food cooperative groups in
Ohio in attending a tri-state (Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky)
food-marketing conference in Madison, Indiana, to display and learn how
to better market their products.
