Damon Hartley of South Centers became one of two accredited trainers of the Hardwood Value Improvement Project, a project sponsored by the USDA Forest Service, Michigan Tech University, and the Ohio Forestry Association. The Hardwood Value Improvement Project curriculum is designed to increase the value recovery of lumber in hardwood logs.
