A spotfin shiner baitfish, multiple-cycle, breeding system has been
developed to initiate large-scale production of spotfin juveniles for
research and technical demonstration. The presence of this new facility
and staff is having a significant impact on private aquaculture
operations in the northwest and central Lake Erie counties of Ohio by
providing technical consultations, demonstrations, and disseminating
research results.
