Purdue agents
infiltrate the Ohio Center of
Aquaculture Development
The Ohio Center for
Aquaculture Development has been asked to develop a training program for 10
Indiana County Agriculture Agents. These county agents are hoping to learn more
about aquaculture so that they can help provide support to the growing
aquaculture industry in Indiana. On November 30th, the group will be
starting the three-day training at the new Bowling Green Aquaculture Center
where they will focus on recirculating systems and visit some near-by farms. On
day two, Bill Lynch, School of Natural Resources, will be hosting the group for
a pond clinic. Day three, the group will be at the Endeavor Center, Piketon’s
new business incubator and training center. We welcome the opportunity to share
our successful programming efforts with our neighbors to the West and hope you
will all join us in welcoming the group this week.
