Aquaculture Wet Laboratory
3,000 sq. ft. Wet Lab is
supplied with ground well water, and has additional pond water supply
lines, to control temperatures. The Wet Lab houses a recirculating
system with ten tanks (200 × 120 cm) that can be used for rearing fish
to maturity. The thirty 3-ft tank systems, twenty four 20'' tanks and
sixty-four 12" small aquarium research systems with flow-through well,
pond water and temperature controlling system in the Wet Lab will be
available for use to the different experiments. A 90-foot greenhouse,
supplied with well water, holds over 12 tanks, with total gallon
capacity of over 20,000 gallons that can be used for holding broodstocks
at different experimental stage and growing-up experiments. A new
building with forty-eight 7-ft tanks for broodstocks is under design.

Pond Facility
Two one-acre ponds, 12 quarter-acre
ponds, and a 5-acre reservoir are equipped with electrical service (110
and 208 v), and have ½ to 1 horsepower aerators. |
